Palm Harbor Library Held ‘A Magical Evening’ on Saturday, October 12

More than 150 guests attended Palm Harbor Library’s “A Magical Evening” event on Saturday, October 12. The unique gathering was a fund-raising event for the Palm Harbor Library Endowment Foundation. Guests were delighted with the exciting live entertainment and mind-blowing magicians. Each featured magician performed on stage during the evening and in between the stage performances, the magicians entertained guest tableside.

“It was wonderful to have so many people here enjoying the magic that our library holds,” commented Library Director, Gene Coppola, who was wearing a dashing magician’s top hat and full-length cape. “Afterall, libraries are truly magical places that hold knowledge, history and imagination for all to enjoy.”

For this event, Palm Harbor Library was transformed into an exciting place of mystery with candlelight, eerie decorations and captivating illusions. Guests also enjoyed a large array of food and wine during the evening. Haunting music further set the stage for guests to enjoy a little mysterious fun.

Magical entertainment during the evening included Magic Suzy, Magic By Chris, Ventriloquism by Mark Simpson, and Laurence Francis The Mind Magician. Each performed an exciting 30 minute show on stage.

“The entertainment was simply dazzling,” continued Library Director Gene Coppola. “People were memorized by all of it and really enjoyed being able to interact with the magicians. It was definitely an evening full of surprises.”
